2026 Tuition
Wofford's Shared Worlds summer creative writing program is a residential, tuition-based program.
Tuition includes instruction, supervisory personnel, program material, activities, professional evaluation, and certificates.
Full tuition for Shared Worlds 2026 is $2,600
(which includes the $500 deposit required to hold your spot once you have applied)
Transportation to and from Spartanburg, SC is not included.

Financial Aid
Interest in financial aid can be indicated when you apply. Once we know how many folks have asked for financial aid, we are able to determine and distribute the funds … often around early April. We do our best to make sure that financial aid gets distributed as fairly as possible based on need and what funds available to us.
Please note, the $500 deposit is required from all applicants regardless of financial aid requests and is fully refundable up until a month before camp begins.
Shared Worlds Refund Policy
Shared Worlds is a small nonprofit program.
The number of employees, scholarships/discounts offered, and the overall program budget are closely tied to the number of students enrolled. Therefore, refunds in full will be made to those making such requests at least one month before the beginning of the Shared Worlds program. Refunds requested within one month of the beginning of Shared Worlds will be made at the discretion of Shared Worlds staff.
